Choosing an oversized casket can be tricky. Only a funeral director can tell you what size you need. Size has nothing to do with weight! Standard sized caskets have a 24" interior width. Oversized caskets start at a 27.5" width. The size you need is based upon the width of the elbows when the hands are placed upon the chest.
